In 11 days, we have our ultrasound appointment where we will find out if we are having a boy or a girl! We should also find out our DUE DATE at that appointment! We cannot wait!
Alec and I are planners. We like to plan things to death. We already drew out the baby room on a smaller scale and cut out pieces of paper for the furniture and arranged it all in the room. Now all I need is to know if we're having a boy or a girl so I can plan the decorations! Excessive, I know. We still have over 4 months to go, but we're both just afraid that it will go by too fast and then we'll have too much to do right at the end when I'm nice and fat. We'll both be working full-time and taking a few classes over the summer, so we don't want to procrastinate.

For now, we're just crossing our fingers that the little guy or gal will cooperate so the doctor can see which he/she is!

ReplyDeleteI would sit in the rocking chair in Emily's room-to-be & just relax after a long day of work & it was awesome to picture her wearing her clothes or nursing in there.
Plus closer to the end you will have so little energy so I say, earlier is better!!!
We are planners too...although...not that much, haha! But seriously, the time WILL creep up on you and before you know it, you will be due in a week! It's better to be over-prepared than to be under-prepared I always say. I am definitely the planner of our marriage :). I have to know how everything is going to be...NOW! Uh! I need to work on patience...maybe
